The shading sort of splits the picture in half. Is that supposed to be a shadow? If so, it should curbe to his form, not be so perfectly straight. Also looks as if the torso is a little too elongated.

I like how the coloring adds to the relaxed mood of just sitting around, reading. Very nice.

this is actually really really cool. i love the colors and the very simple lines. gives it a very sweet, naive look only thing i spotted was that the discman and his headphones aren't connected. looks like a part of the wire's been erased

yeah, I noticed the wire thing after I uploaded the picture =p aparently it got erased while I was doing the shadow thing and I didn't noticed. The simpleness is mainly because I shade with the mouse and it's such a pain in the ass that I prefer to keep it simple.
